APW - Howard Keystone, 21J, 10S, 14K white gold OF original octagonal Howard case with signature ring within rear, silvered dial with applied gold numerals, SW-SS, fully capped lever escapement, striped pattern nickel damascene, s#48456. Gross weight of assembled watch 34.1 dwt (53.1 g). Comes in original outer and inner boxes bearing correctly matched movement and case serial numbers.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, nearly mint cosmetic mvt condition overall, fine scratch and three pinprick nicks to barrel bridge at smaller winding wheel, tiny speck of oxide to regulator; excellent dial with only a few scattered fine surface scratches; virtually mint hands; case shows hardly any wear, some scuffing to rear, no dents or dings; tight bow, crown shows little wear; good glass crystal; inner box in excellent-plus condition, good button latch, slightly loose hinge opens to 180 degrees, some tearing to inner lining; outer box in fair condition, wording is fully legible, tears and tape along most edges though front tab is torn loose at one side and needs to be secured.
